My Story

Hi! I’m Victoria Crossman. I’m a magic and mindset mentor who teaches women how to heal and cope using crystals, tarot, essential oils, herbs, meditation, journaling, and more. I primarily work with women who have mental illness, but it’s absolutely not a requirement. I live with my wife and son, and am also passionate about LGBTQ+ activism and intersectionality within feminism.

I’m an entrepreneur with mental illness. I have Chronic Depression, PTSD, PMDD (Pre-Menstrual Dystrophic Disorder), and (SAD) Seasonal Affective Disorder. I also have to continuously process trauma in order to function as a human being.

I’ve discovered a path that has made it possible for me to be a functioning human being with tons of light and positivity on a more than regular basis. Through magic and mindset, I’ve coped with mental illness and been able to persevere through fear and insecurity.

I’ve learned to rewire my brain through crystal healing and meditation in order to defeat negative self talk. I still take a daily antidepressant, and I believe working with medical and licensed professionals is really important.

In addition to the antidepressant, I’ve learned some amazing coping skills over the years like the power of journaling, meditation, and the healing power of crystals, energy, and the Universe. I have some of these mad skills because I’ve been in and out of therapy since I was 12 years old.

I was always depressed as a child. At seven years old, I started self injuring myself. At age nine, I distinctly remember visualizing suicide frequently. I began doing hard drugs and developed both anorexia and bulimia at age twelve, followed by my first suicide attempt at age fourteen after dating a sociopath who is now in prison for murder. At sixteen, I was strung out on the streets living homeless.

I literally lived under a bridge.

At seventeen, I quit doing drugs. I started therapy back up again seriously. I backpacked for the first time at eighteen. It was the most amazing, incredible experience of my entire life. I connected with nature, trusted Earth, and faced a million and one fears. I hiked through the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area in Wallowa, Oregon and went White Water Rafting through the Snake River for a week. I was a POWERFUL CREATURE!

At nineteen, I got pregnant with a fling. I had my son and was a single mom on welfare. I began learning about crystals and meditation. Through everything in my past and up until today, I journal. I journal almost every day. It’s an incredibly important tool.

I started learning about setting a sacred space for myself, how to set and maintain boundaries, and how to make self care a priority. I still have shitty days, but I am a completely different woman that I was 10 years ago, 5 years ago, 3 years ago. It’s all because I’ve heavily used magic and mindset coping tools over the past 14 years of my life.
